1998 - Founder of the foundation Centre of Competence Paper and Board (KCPK) with support of the Netherlands association of paper and board producers (VNP). 1998 – 2001 Business manager of Centre of Competence Paper and Board, Arnhem Since 2001 - Director of Centre of Competence Paper and Board, Arnhem. Major activities are initiation of R&D projects, project management, organisation of knowledge dissemination and transfer events. Establishing a European wide pulp and paper related R&D network on behalf of the Dutch mills. Turnover in 2003 was over 3 million Euro.

After graduation with MEAO and MBA I'd worked four years for a real estate agency and further five years as Head of courses coordination department for Post HBO and Masters at "Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen". In 1999 I became Office manager of Centre of Competence Paper and Board (KCPK) in Arnhem and in 2003 got also the responsibility of Office manager at Bumaga BV.

My responsibilities at Bumaga
Next to the daily office administration I take care for the book keeping and finances of the company. Further, I am also responsible for the personnel and projects administration of all Dutch and European projects, I also take care for organisation of workshops, seminaries and conferences.
Thanks to the active participation in the management team of Bumaga's projects I have an up-to-date view on the development of European paper industry.

Background
Graduated as Industrial Design Engineer at University of Twente. During her studies she concentrated on management of product development, with a great interest in packaging. Her graduation assignment focused on implementation of consumer and customer needs for a metal packaging company. Together with Maja and Tom from KCPK she is involved in the project Smart and Slim Supply Chains. Furthermore, she works on new applications for paper and board and the participation in the IPC2-program.
